What’s Financial Coaching and Is It what I Need?

In a nutshell, financial coaching provides the systems, tools, and strategies to help you pay off debt, build savings, and feel financially in control.

A good financial coach is a teacher, accountability partner, and a guide. They should help you get a comprehensive picture of where you’re at financially, how you got there, and what your priorities are. Then, they should walk you each step of the way—from point A to point B-eing awesome.

We May Be a Good Fit If:

  • You feel behind financially
  • You experience shame, guilt, anxiety, stress, or fear when you think about money
  • You were never taught how to manage money, but you’re interested in learning how
  • You’re ready to be more financially independent or interested in starting your own business

Go from point A to point B-eing Awesome

This is the three-step plan we’ll follow to get you where you want to go.

1. Unpack your money story. We dive deep into your relationship to money and the limiting beliefs you internalized growing up, since you won’t find financial confidence without changing those stories.

2. Take control. With zero judgment or jargon, you’ll learn the financial basics you were never taught, the foundational skills and habits you’ll need to be successful, and discover the power that comes with finally feeling in control.

3. Become financially empowered. Get clear on how much money you need saved to feel secure before starting your business, in order to grow your business, and eventually quit your day job.

The Foundations of Awesome

In this four-month program you’ll establish your goals, priorities, and values, create a clear plan for where you want your money to go, then proactively and intentionally make Awesome progress towards what’s most important to you.

Month 1:  We identify your goals, priorities, and values, outline a plan for next month, and create a way to track that plan in a way that works for you (i.e. not one size fits all).
Month 2:  We look at worked (and didn’t) with your plan, and adjust accordingly. You’ll set weekly Money Meetings with yourself, get into daily/weekly/monthly money routines, and prioritize the goals you’ll tackle in earnest next month.
Month 3: With a month of planning/tracking under your belt, the gap between reality and the plan narrows. At this point you can set savings/debt payoff goals that are actually rooted in reality, now that you can create a plan you’re fairly comfortable that you can stick to.
Month 4: You’ll move from planning monthly to 3/6/12 months ahead. This is when you’ll A) stop getting surprised by one-off annual expenses B) can start saving for things coming up over the next year and C) see the big picture of the progress you’ll make over that time.

$2000 when paid in full.
$550 per month when paid monthly.
